Top 5 Carpooling and Ridesharing Apps Performance on iOS in Nicaragua Q4 2023

During the fourth quarter of 2023, the top five carpooling and ridesharing apps on iOS in Nicaragua showed varied performance in terms of weekly downloads. Here’s a closer look at how each app performed, based on data from Sensor Tower.

inDrive. Save on city rides saw a consistent increase in weekly downloads over the quarter. Starting at 403 downloads in the last week of September, the app gradually climbed to 516 downloads by the end of December. The most notable spikes were in early December with 506 downloads and mid-December reaching 512 downloads.

Picap also experienced a steady upward trend in weekly downloads. Beginning with 325 downloads in late September, it reached 450 downloads in the final week of December. Key points of growth were observed in early December with 391 downloads and mid-December peaking at 424 downloads.

Uber - Request a ride showed a moderate increase in downloads throughout the quarter. It started with 175 downloads in the last week of September and ended the year with 202 downloads in the last week of December. The app hit its highest download rate in late October with 249 downloads.

Aventón had a more fluctuating pattern in weekly downloads. The app started at 71 downloads in late September, saw a peak of 94 downloads at the end of October, and concluded the quarter with 39 downloads in the last week of December.

Lyft had the lowest download numbers among the top five. Starting with 37 downloads in late September, it showed slight variations throughout the quarter, ending with 34 downloads in the last week of December. The highest number of downloads was observed in mid-October with 48 downloads.
